The following pool rules are required per State of Florida department of Health regulations for our operating permit, the insurance carrier, and to allow for an enjoyable and safe pool experience for everyone. Rules will be strictly enforced.
Again, please remember, the pool rules are required per State of Florida Department of Health regulations for our operating permit, the insurance carrier, and to allow for an enjoyable and safe pool experience for everyone. Rules will be strictly enforced. Noncompliance will result in suspension of pool privileges.
- All residents must use the assigned gate code to enter the pool area. In an effort to allow for ALL residents of The Oaks to enjoy the swimming pool, please limit the number of guests you bring to the pool to 4 per household at any time. The bathing limit (amount of bodies allowed in the pool at one time) is 26 people.
- The pool entrance gate must be locked and kept clear at all times. At no time, should any devices be used to keep the pool entrance gate propped open, or its locking system defeated.
- Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult resident at all times for usage of the pool facilities. Those children not accompanied by an adult resident will be asked to leave the pool by any adult resident.
- ABSOLUTELY NO COOKING anywhere within the pool area. Grilling, cooking, etc. can only be done at your own home. (An insurance requirement)
- Food and drink is allowed in the pool area, under the covered overhang ONLY. No alcoholic beverages, no glass containers or bottles. At all times food and/or drink should NEVER be near or in the pool. Please help us with this so that all families and residents can enjoy the pool. Trash cans are plentiful in the pool area. Please clean up after yourself, your children, and your guests.
- Smoking is prohibited in the pool area.
- Radios, tape players, CD players, MP3 players, and the like are not permitted unless they are personal units equipped with headphones.
- No jumping, pushing, running, or other horseplay is allowed in the pool or on the pool deck area.
- Proper swim attire must be worn at the pool at all times.
- Showers are required before entering the pool.
- Diving is strictly prohibited.
- Play equipment, big rafts, blow-up lounge chairs, inner tubes, beach balls, etc. are not acceptable. Items of use for the safety of children who can’t swim, or are too young, such as life jackets, arm floats, and the like, are acceptable and allowed. Small pool toys such as diving sticks, masks, goggles, and snorkels are acceptable as well. Please do not bring large pool extras or toys.
- Children under 3 years of age, and those who are not reliably toilet trained, must wear swim diapers, as well as a swim suit over the swim diaper, to reduce the health risks associated with human waste contamination in the swimming pool/deck area.
- The changing of diapers or clothes is not allowed in the pool area or on the tables. Please use the designated restrooms for such use.
- No one shall pollute or contaminate the pool. If contamination occurs, the pool will be closed for such time as necessary to comply with Health Codes and the water will be shocked with chlorine to kill the bacteria. Anyone who does pollute or contaminate the pool is liable for any costs incurred in treating and reopening the pool, and will be subject to suspension of privileges.
- Swimming is permitted from dawn until dusk. Swimming after dusk is prohibited by the Florida Department of Health. Residents, and their guests, swim at their own risk, while adhering to swimming pool rules.
- No person is allowed in the pool/pool area during non-posted swimming hours.
- Remote controlled toys and watercraft are not allowed in the pool area.
- Loud, profane, or abusive language is prohibited. No physical or verbal abuse will be tolerated.
- Pool furniture is not to be removed from the pool area.
- Pets (with the exception of service animals), bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, and scooters are not permitted on the pool deck area or inside the pool gate at any time.
- The pool and pool areas cannot be reserved for private parties.
- During periods of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and other inclement weather, the pool facilities will be closed.
- Trespassing is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be prosecuted.
